News - Change to Y81 Route

There is an emergency closure coming into effect on Barton Road, Swinton from the 21st November to the 25th November to carry out repairs to a collapse within the carriageway. This will affect the Y81 on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of November.
The Y81 will be revised to operate via Worsley Road instead of Barton Road.

From Seedley, Bolton Road/Langworthy Road via Bolton Road, Manchester Road, Worsley Road, East Lancashire Road, Lancaster Road, Eccles Old Road, Half Edge Lane, Monton Road, Monton Green, Parrin Lane, Worsley Road, Liverpool Road, New Lane to St Patrick’s High School.

Returning from St Patrick’s High School via New Lane, Worsley Road, Parrin Lane, Monton Green, Monton Road, Half Edge Lane, Eccles Old Road, Lancaster Road, East Lancashire Road, Worsley Road, Manchester Road, Bolton Road to Seedley, Bolton Road/Langworthy Road.
